Norway Roving Scholar, 2014-15

I will be working with lower school students and teachers to explore English language skills through the study of 20th century U.S. popular music and social change movements. With a deep commitment to social justice pedagogy, My lessons are based upon specific historical or cultural issues, using  popular music to define, describe or create reflections about these contexts. My lessons use video, audio and photographic documents to create opportunities for both language learning and critical thinking.
